We would hereby like to announce the opening of wayswithwords!

Following a request to consider opening a new open RP community for people to visit to run alongside muserevival and musebysentence, we have decided to open wayswithwords for anyone interested in joining a new dressing room, open RP comm.

It runs the same as the other like communities out there, though here we have no restrictions as to word length or play style and we allow both generic and smut posts. Like any comm, we have a few guidelines and rules to keep things as easy-flowing as we can, so before you join, please drop over to our PROFILE PAGE and familiarize yourself with them.

From there on, anything goes! Hopefully we can pick up some interest and gain a little momentum. It's always nice to have a few options of places to stretch our RP feet and with our new comm, we just hope to had to that variety.

We had a few requests for a mirror community on Dreamwidth due to many RP'ers choosing to transfer over here, so we have decided to take the plunge! We have joined forces with the mods from muserevival to bring our communities here to Dreamwidth.

Prompt sets will be posted to both Livejournal and Dreamwidth. Dreamwidth users can post their responses to the comms over there, and Livejournal users can continue to post here. Prompts will continue to go up weekly now we have finished with the transition.

Due to some requests coming in lately from people looking for more portals for muse writing and/or RP, we have decided to relaunch musebysentence - starting now!

We noticed that a few people have enjoyed completing all prompts within a prompt set, so we decided to introduce a new way to enjoy musebysentence, via Table Prompt Sets.

Visit HERE, and you will find six (6) Table Prompt Sets that each include twenty-five (25) prompts each. You can now have the challenge of 25 individual sentences for your muse in one go.

HOW THIS WORKS
1) Select the table you wish to complete
2) You can post it to your journal via the HTML copy boxes below each table, if you wish. Some may wish to post the table above the list of sentences when posting to the comm, or you may just prefer a 1-25 list of them.
3) When posting the sentences here to musebysentence, you must POST ALL 25 in one go. These tables are for all prompts to be filled in one post. If you prefer only to do one or two prompts, for example, please refer to our normal prompt sets HERE and our community rules HERE.
4) ALL TABLE SETS POSTED HERE MUST BE UNDER A CUT to save members f-lists.

We would like to announce (and pimp) our brand new sister community, musebyrp

The title pretty much speaks for itself, in that has been created with a sole purpose as RP for muses. We are aware that musebysentence allows RP, however many of the threads posted are clearly not an invitation for RP, and some of our members have expressed a wish for a fresh and relaxed place to RP. So, with the success of musebysentence, we thought it was time to offer a soley RP portal for members in a moderated - yet not restrictive - environment.

Our purpose of musebyrp is to offer a fresh place for muses to interact, meet, greet, chat, bitch, contemplate, or just have fun. Maybe your muse wants advice, or to offer their opinion? Or maybe they just want to catch up with friends, or engage in a plot-building scene with a few fellow muses?

We have no restrictions on word limit, no restrictions as to action text, etc. and no restrictions on post length. Posts can be locked at one or more muses specifically, or be open for anyone to jump in to. Posts can be deep and meaningful, or have no meaning at all. We would say anything goes, however, we do have some simple rules below we ask all muns and muses to follow to hopefully keep any drama at bay. We allow duplicates of all canon characters with no limit the amount of duplicates who can join, and have no limit on how many pups a writer can join with.

Join process is identical to that of musebysentence. You are simply required to follow the directions and log your character details at our MUSE MEMBER LIST, and then click to join the community, musebyrp, and a moderator will approve your request.
