I'm okay. Okay's a success these days. This guy from my dad's past sort of showed up in my life. He was there at the bar with his kid. His kid got sick, passed out and banged his head. It was a crazy night. Just surreal for me.

Hey, this kid had it worse than me. Poor fucking lad. There's nothing worse than being a teenager and getting embarrassed in front of people. Feels like your world is going to end. Yeah, he's an ex-Marine. Amputee, and now a single dad. I guess that gives him good points. I'm not sure. I should probably ask.

Getting embarrassed AND getting hurt is even worse when you're a teenager. Sounds like he's definitely got some good traits going on. I hope he's doing all right... even if he's probably embarrassed as all fuck.

My teenage years were horrible. I'm all for seeing other kids well taken care of and loved. Parents out there getting shit right. He was pretty poorly that night, I think most people there got a fright. He just would've gotten the worst of it.
